Simon knew he needed someone who would one day understand his pain.
Life in a shelter is very confusing for some dogs because they don’t understand why and where they are, why they are surrounded by so many dogs and whether they are their friends or vice versa.
It is especially difficult for those dogs that have been abused to get into a shelter. They don’t know who they can trust unless they get insulted again.
That’s where this dog named Sammy ended up. The poor puppy went through a lot, but luckily Simon was there to help and comfort him.
They lived in the same shelter and now their photos are widely distributed. Now they are good friends.
He had a gunshot wound, she broke her leg and needed a transplant. And Sammy was abused and neglected.
They were very close to each other and consoled each other. Treated together at the vet.
