The lady adopts an old dog from sanctuary and later learns she’s her lost childhood puppy

When Nicole Grimes‘ grandmother gave her a pup for her birthday, a Pomeranian-Poodle cross, she was only ten years old.

After 4 blissful years with one another , she finally had to part ways with her devoted dog because of changes in their family’s circumstances.

Her father got a new home-based job that needed a quiet place without any noise, including dog barking.

Because of this, Nicole’s father took her loved Chloe to the Washington Area Humane Society when she was 14 years old, leaving both of them devastated.

Eight years later, Nicole saw a post on her Fb feed about a senior dog that was available for adoption.Chloe was the dog’s name; she was a cross between a Pomeranian and a Poodle.

She was 11 years old, which is the same age as „her“ Chloe would be today.

Nicole made the decision to visit the senior dog because she had a strong suspicion that it might be Chloe, the dog she had to give up when she was ten years old.

Nicole was fairly certain that Chloe was „her“ Chloe when they finally met when she licked her face like she used to.

Despite this, her family refused to believe her, so they took the dog to the veterinarian to have her microchip scanned.

To their surprise, the senior dog turned out to be the puppy they had brought to the shelter eight years earlier.

Today, Nicole and Chloe are making up for lost time, and Nicole can’t wait for her 4-month-old daughter to become best friends with Chloe.

Her family decided to have her microchip scanned at the vet because they didn’t think that dog could be Chloe. They found out that Nicole had been right all along:It turned out that the dog was her first dog.

Nicole was very happy, and how little Chloe had changed surprised her.She can’t wait for Chloe to meet her daughter and become best friends with her in the future.

Given that her grandma, who gave her Chloe, passed away three years ago, Nicole is thankful to have had the opportunity to meet Chloe once more.

They will undoubtedly make up for the time they lost now that fate brought them back together.
