Senior blind Dachshund and his pit bull best chap who guides him everywhere are eventually reunited

OJ, a dachshund, is 12 years old, and Dozer, a pit bull, is 6. They developed a special bond; they are always close by, and Dozer even chose OJ over OJ because the baby is completely blind.

When OJ made the decision to adopt a pit bull from the shelter, she was staying with a kind individual. The owner of the dogs lost her home and job that day, forcing her to wander the streets.

She simply could not keep two animals, so she gave them to the shelter with tears in her eyes. She requested that the pets not be separated because they are very attached to each other.

From that point on, they developed a friendship. The woman’s wishes were respected by the shelter staff, who promptly gave the new family both dogs.

However, a local saw a dachshund wandering 100 miles from his home along a rural road very quickly. OJ appeared to the man to be a stray and not a pet, so the man caught him and brought him to the shelter.

Representatives of the middle utilizing a computer chip figured out who the proprietor of OJ was, and called this lady.

She wanted to leave the dachshund at the shelter, so she refused to take it. The story of OJ and Dozer quickly spread across social media, and people wondered if the pit bulls would ever meet.

She also did not want to give up Dozer. However, how can you separate animals that are so attached to one another?

The woman finally gave in after being persuaded for several hours to hand over Dozer. After a long time apart, OJ and Dozer were thrilled to meet.

They repeatedly waved their tails in greeting, jumped, and fooled around. The dogs are currently housed in the shelter and will not be given anywhere in the near future.

This couple’s story is far from over. The shelter staff will soon begin looking for a new home for them. This time, they’ll ask the owners to sign a document that says animals can’t be separated.
