A few pets resort to uncommon stunts for this. In an effort to entice and pique the interest of those who come to the shelter, others happily wag their tails.
Cheech, a 2-year-old dog, is the hero of this story because of his charming smile. Volunteers took Cheech from the Texas streets to a shelter nearby.
The staff at the animal center started to notice that the dog started to look strange every time someone came close to his cage.
“I immediately contacted my coworkers to have a look when I first saw his „smile.“ Leah Sipe, the shelter’s director, recalls, „They thought Cheech was just grinning or snarling, but he was more friendly than ever.“

Cheech was assisted in finding a new family by shelter volunteers and staff after they considered all of the proposals.
