A staff member recently took a heartwarming video of dogs at a shelter that brought people to their feet and caused them to cry happy tears.
It was about how the dogs reacted when they saw a room full of new Christmas toys. One of Ireland’s most prominent animal welfare organizations is Dog Trust Ireland.
They play a role in rescuing, rehabilitating, and even rehoming dogs of all breeds, sizes, and colors into loving new homes.
The workers at the shelter give their lives to making sure the dogs are content, free, and find a forever home.
They hold a festive event known as „Santa Paws Day“ every Christmas. This causes them to stop the adoptions for a few days.
During the holiday season, the staff members would collect brand-new toys that they received from kind society members.
Later, they would spread the toys out on the floor in the middle of the shelter’s training room. All of the ecstatic dogs would rush into the training area one by one to retrieve their Christmas toys and return them to the kennel.
However, every dog naturally approaches the toys in a different way. While others carefully select their favorites, some of the dogs dive right in.
