Loyal aged woman is the eldest park ranger in the USA: Betty Reid retires at age of 100

Betty Reid Soskin announced her retirement at the age of 100 after publishing her devoted service stories for more than 15 years.

She leaves behind a significant service legacy at Home Front National Historic Parking Richmond, where she spent her 15 most enjoyable and selfless years.

Soskin was recently named the most well-known parkkeeper in the United States after turning 100.

The authorities planned a public celebration of her retirement on April 16; consequently, the legendary made an official announcement of her retirement from her cherished position.

In the 1940s, the infamous 100-year-old woman worked as a file clerk in a Union hall. Later, she and her husband Mel Reid would open the store known as „Reid’s Records.“

She had to look for a new job, however, as the store officially closed in 2019. So, when Soskin turned 89, she got a new job at the National Park Service and became a ranger.

She led social projects, shared memories and new ideas at the visitor center, and was a punctual employee.

The courageous woman asserted that she was extremely proud of being the primary focus of her story’s introduction to history. She also said that it was fun for her to give the national park a new shape.
