The 30th anniversary of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ featuring Josh Groban

NACHRICHTEN

Disney is responsible for some of the most well-known movie characters. Since its release 30 years ago, the classic film Beauty and the Beast has been enjoyed worldwide.

Disney+ broadcast a star-studded celebration to mark the occasion. The title track, „Beauty and the Beast,“ will be performed by Josh Groban and H.E.R.

Angela Lansbury, who voiced Mrs. Potts in the movie, performed the song at first. To the center of the circular stage, they gracefully descend the stairway.

Josh Groban is dressed as the Prince, and H.E.R. is dressed as Princess Belle. The performance is well received by the audience, who applaud throughout.

The first line of H.E.R.’s song is „Tale as old as time.“ True to the letter. Scarcely even companions, then, at that point, someone twists startlingly.“

Josh comes in to sing the verse’s second part. On the chorus of the song, the two sing beautifully in harmony.

Around the stage, a group of dancers in elaborate white gowns and suits begin to move together. At the top of the staircase, H.E.R. returns with a soaring electric guitar lead after leaving the scene.

A rose, similar to the famous stained glass window from the movie, can be found on the clear guitar body.

For the 1991 film, the legendary writing team of lyricist Howard Ashman and composer Alan Menken wrote the song „Beauty and the Beast.“

Angela Lansbury sang the movie’s catchy melody and heartfelt lyrics in one take. For the stage finale, all of the other characters and guest stars join Josh and H.E.R.

Fantastic harmony and blend are achieved by the two performers.

We are immediately transported back to the emotions of the original movie by the spectacle of the ballroom, complete with dancers, majestic music, and smoke billowing from the floor.
