Meet the helmeted special needs cat who gets the happy ending that he deserved

Otter and Bunny, two siblings of a kitten, were found living on the street by rescuers and waited for their mother to return. But when the mother cat didn’t come back, they knew they had to give the two kittens home.

Both Otter and Bunny required specialized care because they lacked most of their front legs. As a result, Caroline from the Baby Kitten Rescue was contacted by the rescuers.

She and her team were experts in rescuing kittens with special needs. Caroline stated, „They were pretty sick when they arrived.“

They had fleas, terrible stomach issues, and upper respiratory infections. Fortunately, Caroline and her team of experts were prepared.

The kids got better with time and care, but Caroline noticed another abnormality at that point. Because Otter lacked a portion of his skull, he was extremely susceptible to infection if he bumped his head.

Someone responded to Caroline’s request for assistance on her social media platforms. We received a message from a follower promising to make Otter a helmet.

Otter could play with his kitten friends and live the happy life he deserved thanks to his adorable helmet, which was the size of a cat. Caroline stated, „He is not experiencing any discomfort or pain.“

He is the happiest youngster. The child did not have to wear his helmet for the rest of his life, despite how adorable it was.

Otter’s skull hole would be covered with a titanium mesh after Caroline performed the surgery. The operation went off without a hitch!
