70 years after she quit  college, a 90-year-old Chicago grandma graduates

NACHRICHTEN

Over 50 years after she initially left school to establish a family, Joyce DeFauw, 90, graduated from college on December 11,22.

1951 was Joyce’s initial entry into college. She is now a great-grandmother to 24 people and a grandma to 17 people.

According to Joyce, returning to school was motivated by her family, as she informed the local media.

A number of decades after quitting school, she graduated with a bachelor’s in general studies from Northern Illinois University.

As she counsels others, „Stay persistent. Don’t give up, even if you do. Remain persistent.

Continue to gain knowledge. Continue to be grateful. For you, it is available. Simply take a risk.“

Never give up on your dreams, dream harder, dream wider, just dream! It’s never too late, it’s never late, you just need to take a risk and be proud of where it will get you standing!
