A group of Abrigo Animais Aumigos rescuers recently discovered a mother dog and her three puppies. The four members of the family appeared worn out as they lay on the open ground.
Because she was unable to feed her pups, the mother dog was weeping. The dogs‘ mother, Paola, was exhausted from hunger, and there was no milk for her offspring.
Things appeared to be very bad for the family as they remained motionless on the ground. The rescuers believed that the family had not eaten in a long time.
The mother dog had no choice but to shut her eyes and deal with the pain. However, the puppies appeared to be suffering as well.
The family was extremely ill-nourished and weak. The puppies also lived in poverty and misery as children.
The family was taken to the veterinarian, and the rescuers gave the mother dog a bowl of food right away. Sadly, the veterinarian discovered that their bodies were severely malnourished and covered in ticks.
Furthermore, two puppies were superior to the third. As a result, the two more healthy puppies were kept apart.
The rescue center took care of the dog family and fed them healthy food to get them back to health. However, due to her extremely constricted stomach, they were unable to feed the mother dog much.
They made sure the mother dog took her time eating. They gave her a lot of protein in the hope that the mother dog and her puppies would soon recover.
Paola’s health began to improve after the third day. She could take care of her puppies and eat for herself. The dog family’s health significantly improved by the tenth day, and all four of them gained weight.
Paola became friendlier with her rescuers and stopped doubting them. She could now stroll around without anyone else. Paola was completely healthy after almost two months.
She got better after getting regular care and food at the rescue center. Paola lived a happy life after her three puppies were adopted by kind families.
