Little elephants are just adorable. But few people know that they are also very playful and love to cuddle with everyone they meet on the way.
And that makes them even cuter! Did you know that in the first months of life, baby elephants do not know what to do with their trunk.
They usually swing back and forth. Sometimes they even forget about it and step on it.
And curiously enough, elephants tend to suck on their trunks like small children suck on their thumbs.
This comforts them and helps them learn more about their body parts.
That’s why some guards give pacifiers to young elephants so they don’t damage their trunks.
